Thanks, great video! The Tree script always seemed daunting to me, but it’s pretty powerful! =) Also, thanks for the //image.jpg tip!

I have seen some of videos where you have live video and you add cgi animation to it (I.E. a fireball from the hand) can that be done in blender or do you use 3d Studio Max for that?

I don’t know what king of flexibility you want but “Ivy Generator” is a great free software for creating realistic Ivy in geometry. You import you Obj where you want Ivy grow , setup your ivy with a couples of parameters and export a Obj of the Ivy for using it in Blender or any other 3D software. Juste did a such for ” Ivy Generator by by Thomas Luft ” you the first link should be the good one.
BTW, great tutorial for anyone want more controle !

hi ward, you should try next time “File->External Data->Make all Paths Relative”. Its a nice script and it changes all paths for you automaticaly.

The work in your “Blending Me 2″ file looks really nice, were all the models done in blender? Some look like they have been done in zBrush :)

have a problem with adding leaves. i follow your tutorial up untill the point where your adding leaves and there is not problem but when i add my leaf shape in the generate leaf OB: box instead of lots of leaves attaching to the ivy, the original leaf that i created at attaches to the ivy, leaving me with just one big leaf. what am i doing wrong?
