Today the meaning to this song has changed for me. For a couple of years my roommate has told me that this is the song he sees himself having his “first dance” to with that one girl he’s waiting to be ready for the ‘happily-ever-after’ with him. I never paid much attention to it since he’s one of those guys that has a new girl around each week… yet today I found out that the girl he’s patiently and quietly waiting for is me.
