Yes, I highly suggest that you try to avoid food/beverages with hidden MSG. MSG isn’t just monosodium glutamate, but also functionally equivalent to free glutamic acid, an labeled component of many seemingly benign ingredients that food scientists. MSG is a flavor enhancer that tricks your brain cells into thinking that what you’re eating is tasty. However, whistle-blowers like Carol Hoernlein, ex-food scientist at M&M/Mars and neurosurgeon Russell L. Blaylock have evidence that MSG overexcites your brain cells to the point of damaging and/or killing them. Carol Hoernlein even has evidence that MSG is addictive. Here’s where to find a list of the ingredients that contain hidden MSG: http://www.naturalnews.com/025066.html. Read your labels for everything that you buy based on that list and decide for yourself whether or not you want to take the health risk.
Have some superfoods, you know: beans, rice, etc.
