Grape Vines. South Coast of England ?

I have a grape vine,in a large pot, against a south facing wall.It survived last winter and has grown this summer to a height of 3metres.Although it has produced no fruit, the leaves are starting to turn.Should I prune it ,or leave it alone ?
How far should I prune back ?

Grape vines can take up to 7 years to produce. Only new shoots produce grapes. Defiantly prune back every year. This will promote root growth. I try to prune mine after the first hard frost. Had good luck.
