How Do I Train a Vine to Grow Up Something?
I have a vine right now that just sprouted up in an empty flower pot I had. It’s about 8 inches long right now. I have two questions about it:
1. What should I get it to grow up?
2. HOW do I get it to grow up something?
Well I am not an expert gardener but my dad just twist tied his to a tellace and when it grew enough around it he took the ties out it looked pretty but I know that wasn’t much help but hope you get your vine to grow up something soon and that it looks good!
lattice! & just wrap the tip of the vine around the lower portion of the lattice everytime the vine grows enough!
buy a rack type thing and tye kinda i cant explain it
U could use wire hangers & just kinda put the hanger where ever u want the vine to go. Vine’s crawl up buildings REALLY easily.
you can purchase large and small trellises at walmart, home depot, lowe’s, kmart . . .any where that sells garden stuff.
As it grows, just keep guiding the new growth, or you can use a little string to tie it where you want to go to start it, if its stubborn.
