Kiwi Vine Male N Female Combo.mov.MOV

Male and Female Kiwi plants in #5 combination planting. You need one male Kiwi per every 5 female Kiwi plants. Male Kiwi plants can grow very large so effective pruning and plant management are a must. Allow for a lot of back yard space for Kiwi growing, but the plants produce huge amounts of fruit so you will be well rewarded.

    How do you determine the sex of the plant if grown from seed? Is it from the rate of growth?
