Sour Grapes Cannabis Grow Part 19

Just installed a new reservoir that has a 30 gallon capacity. That is 3 times the size of what I had earlier and will allow me to run my watering system for as long as about a week unattended. It is now also a dual pump system with two 400 GPH pumps, one for the left side of the garden and the other for the right. I plan on making more improvements to the drip system as time goes on but will more than likely wait until after the cycle. For now I am fairly satisfied with the watering dynamics but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Put a one way valve at each pump. That way if one pump fails the other will keep working.

@paddletramping Yeah I think it is all bullshit. That roughneck cost like $20 while the other res was over 60!!!

My SOG grow needed a hard plastic res though.

@lawtizzle Actually I don’t do anything. I just make sure the pots are clean then just dump it in. Coco is really simple.

Soil though will need some inoculations.

now that you have 2 res, do you think you will get an r/o unit instead of bottled ? mine was only like 225.00 kinda cheaper and real easy. ?????????

@paddletramping I have no plans to get RO at this time since I have no way to handle runoff.

I am not sure what the fill rate is with the new configuration. I am stil testing that out.

@paddletramping Bedsides I am using the bottled for the SOG grow only. The SG grow is just using a small boy filter.
