The house I bought a year ago came with a small grape vine on the property. It had been neglected for what looked like years and last weekend I trimmed all the excess vines off and am getting it ready for what I hope will be a good year of production. The arbor that was there was just some steel bars driven into the ground with plastic coated steel cable strung between them. They are trashed from the vines growing up around them and I want to build a new arbor out of lumber. The vine only has two main trunks so it is not very big. What is the best way to build the arbor? Does anyone have any suggestions or link to any plans? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
