Why Can't I Poop? I Know It Sounds Gross but I'm Not Afraid to Ask… I Eat a Fruit (Apples, Bananas, Watermel

on grapes) I eat 9 grain bread in about 3 or 4 days Ive finished at least 3/4 of a bottle of prune juice (however I do mix it with orange juice to help with taste) I eat Special K protien cereal drink lots of water eat brocoli and nothing Also I’ve tried laxatives before I was getting in shape for an event and only ate a small fruit salad that consisted of a small bushel of red grapes, a small carton of milk (only sometimes tho usually just water) 2 very small pieces of watermelon, sometimes a small roll, and a small serving of unsalted unshelled sunflower seeds for lunch around 11, 12, and then around 2 I would run for an hour and then weight train for an hour or so after. I was shedding the pounds like crazy but like every person does I slipped up and would eat so much that my stomach would be bulging and I was so bloated all I could do was lay down the laxatives definitely helped but the next time it happened they did nothing except cause discomfort. I’ve been considering the detox?
I haven’t been doing so much running in the past month or so or any laxatives… just the fruits, some veggies, grain bread, prune juice… Every once in a while I’ll go for a run but haven’t this past week at all… I just added that in to tell that sometimes laxatives don’t work for me, as for many people they hear constipation and there auto response is "take a laxative"…

Water? Experts say you need to drink at least 64 ounces of liquid a day. Try driniking soda pop, at least a can a day. That could be the catalist you need.

Drink more water. A LOT more. If you’re having problems going to the bathroom, taking in a gallon of water a day will erase that problem.

Unless you have a more serious condition like IBS or Crohn’s Disease, in which case you need to see a doctor.

Take the lax! That’ll should help. If not, go and see the doctor.

If you’ve done this much in 3 or 4 days and nothing has happened, you should see a dr. There could be a blockage. That’s a lot of food and exercise. You could try the detox, but drink lots of fluids and rest, because you’re putting your body through a lot.
